This group was first piloted as MT4PD in 2016, and funded through the 2017-2018 grant cycle through community grants from the National Parkinson Foundation. In 2018, the group adopted a new name, Crescendo (which means to increase in loudness or intensity). Crescendo at the Beach is an offering commissioned by the Parkinson's support groups of Pamlico and New Bern, North Carolina
